Herria- Kepa Junkera - Warner 2012

Kepa Junkera z Kraju Basków to artysta niezwykły. Dlaczego?? Gra na prostym, guzikowym akordeonie diatonicznym. Niewiele jest tu możliwości przemierzania muzycznych szlaków. Progiem,i nie do pokonania stają się modulacje i sięganie po dźwięki z krzyżykiem czy bemolem. Sytuacja podobna do tej, w jakiej znajdują się skrzypkowie grający na norweskich skrzypach. Tymczasem Kepa radzi sobie znakomicie. Nie jest to może akordeonowe szaleństwo ala Piazzolla i pokłosie jego wizji - fińskie akordeonowe szaleństwa, ale zadziwiająco rozszerza się stylistyka, po ktorą Kepa sięga: zydeco, celtyckie impresje, popowa ballada, folk oldschoolowy, jazz, wielka tradycja baskijskich ballad. WIelką zaletą Kepy jest produkcja. Podwójne albumy, jak Bilbao 00:00, gromadzą obok lidera chyba z dwa autobusy gości. Tym razem wielu wirtuozów, ale nie o nazwiska tu chodzi. Wspaniałe spektrum gatunkowe i brzmieniowe. Wszystko podane ze smakiem, umiarem, bez szaleństwa - przemyślane i dopracowane. Klasyk. W sumie 24 utwory, z których, przyznam najbardziej podobają mi się nietaneczne, liryczne. Pląsy baskijskie przypominają nieco meksykańskie klimaty na 2/4 i nie odznaczają się zbyt rozwiniętą melodyką i progresywnym podejściem. W tym wypadku ratuje je poczucie humoru i ciekawy aranż., choć wydaje mi się, że to muzyka, która starzeje się na naszych oczach.
