A 45-year-old repeat offender has been arrested for showing his students pornographic films that included sexual acts.

The man was arrested by Plock police – central Poland – for pedophilia and providing minors with sexual materials.

The man was arrested almost by accident, according to police, especially because the nine-year-old girls he was showing the pornographic material to were far too embarrassed to report him. In November, one of his private students mentioned something unsettling to her parents, who then proceeded to contact the parents of the offender’s other students – who confirmed the story.

A repeat-offender, the man’s first conviction was regarding a then-eight-year-old girl who he repeatedly molested in 2000-2001. The ‘teacher’ was a private mathematics tutor.

Police are calling for any other un-reported instances of molest by this man in order to build a full case against him. He faces up to 12 years in prison per charge. (mmj)
