Saint Valentine, in addition to the association with love and romance, is also the patron saint of epilepsy.
Poles suffering from epilepsy will mount a campaign in Warsaw, Saturday, in order to draw attention to their illness.
The action, which will be organized under the slogan "Notice me," will include patients and their families from all over Poland informing passers-by in most strategic point of Warsaw about their affliction.
Another goal of the campaign is to educate Poles about the possible ways of behaviour at the moment of an epileptic seizure.
There are about 400,000 Polish citizens suffering from epilepsy, 70 percent of whom are children under the age of 14. (is/pg)
