Over 8,000 residents of Wodislaw Slask, in Silesia in southern Poland, are without heating since Monday night. Approximately 2,000 more do not have hot water.
“Last night, the main water vein [in the region] started leaking and lost 400 mm in the water level,” stated the spokesperson for the Jastrzebie-Zdroj Energy Concern.
On Monday night, water pressure in the area started to decrease drastically. The leak still has not been isolated. (mmj)
