The European Investment Bank is giving Poland a loan of up to 4 billion euro, says its president, Philippe Maystadt
“Last year we lent Poland 2.8 billion euro. This year we are going to increase this sum,” said Myastadt.
Prime Minister Tusk, who has returned from the emergency EU summit in Brussels at the weekend, said that the money will be spent on vital projects.
“The loan is supported by a specific investment plan,” he said, with money being poured into infrastructure projects, such as the much needed construction of roads and highways.
