Ireland’s Customs and Excise Service has arrested a 25-year-old Pole found with capsules full of cocaine in his stomach.
The total weight of the smuggled cocaine amounted to one kilogram; with a market value estimated at 70,000 euros.
The Pole working in Brussels and was caught at Dublin airport, Saturday. Customs officers handed him over to a special drug trafficking police unit.
As of the beginning of 2009 customs officers in Dublin have confiscated one million euros of narcotics. (jm/pg)
