A cleaning lady at the Pyrzowice Airport in Katowice, southern Poland, found two packages of marijuana in the garbage can in the women’s toilet overnight.

The two cling-film wrapped packages weighing 205 grams in total and estimated to be worth approximately 6,200 zloty (1,308 euro) were found under bags of rubbish.

Airport Border Guards were informed of the find and have determined that it is an Indian strain of marijuana.

It is suspected that the marijuana was left in the trash by someone who flew into Poland from a country outside of the Schengen zone – it is assumed that they feared checks by border control and decided to dump their illegal possession. (mmj)
