• Poland cuts interest rates

Poland’s Monetary Policy Council has cut interest rates, yet again – this time by 0.25 basis points.

 

The base rate is now 3.75 percent. The cut is in line with market and economists’ expectations. The rate setting body will explain reasons for the cut at a press conference at 16.00 CET. (pg)
