• Boy saves family’s life
  • 06.04.2009

A 10-year old boy from the southern city of Czestochowa saved the life of his kin, who were suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Early in the morning Wiktor called his grandfather and told him that everyone at home feels dizzy and sick. The concerned grandad alarmed ambulance service and asked paramedics to check his daughter’s house.

When they arrived at the site, it turned out that a gas heater used by the family was leaky and ventilation blocked. If it had not been for Wiktor, the whole family could have died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Wiktor, his mother, father and a 15-year old sister were taken to hospital. (mg)
