• Less Israeli school children visit Poland
  • 20.04.2009

Israel’s education ministry has announced that 16,850 students made trips to Poland in the last 12 months, a decline of just over 1000 in same period the year before.

The ministry in Jerusalem says the reasons for the decline are rising costs of travel to Poland’s Jewish historic sites, teachers’ strikes and late tenders to travel companies.
