Waledemar Pawlak

Waldemar Pawlak (50) is a former prime minister of Poland - the first time in 1992 for just 33 days - but again in 1993 -95.

He graduated from Warsaw Polytechnic in 1984 and worked as a teacher of computer programming. He entered parliament for the rural based PSL in 1991.

Since 2007 he has served as economy and deputy prime minister in the Civic Platform-PSL coalition. He has stood in presidential elections on two occasions before.

He is married with three sons.
