Eurorealist Declan Ganley, sets up a Polish branch of the Libertas party opposed to the Lisbon Treaty.

Declan Ganley, one of the leaders of the eurorealist movement, is opening a branch of his party, Libertas, in Warsaw. The Irish entrepreneur had financed a campaign against the Lisbon Treaty in 2008, which lead to the rejection of the reform in his country. Mr. Ganley, firmly contends he is not against the European Union as a whole, but solely against the treaty, deeming it a limitation to the sovereignty of the EU countries.
