Nazi German concentration camps must not be called ‘Polish camps’ we’ll be talking to a man who launched a major public campaign in the United States.
Earlier this week, members of the European Parliament from a number of countries appealed to media outlets to desist from referring to ‘Polish concentration camps’. The appeal is yet another attempt to curb the spread of disinformation about the death camps set up in occupied Poland by Hitler's Nazi regime.
Some six months ago, a campaign of protest against the frequent use of the expression ‘ Polish camps’ was launched in the United States by the President of the Kosciuszko Foundation Alex Storożyński.
In an exclusive interview for Polish Radio’s English, Michał Kubicki asked Alex Storożyński how successful the campaign has proved so far.
