Following a day of meetings with the opposition devoted to ways of responding to the economic slowdown, the Polish government’s crisis package is coming up before Parliament.
The government’s ideas on offsetting the crisis got thumbs up from Professor Jan Winiecki, one of the founders of the Adam Smith Centre, but every political force in Poland has its own ideas on how to counter the crisis, starting with President Lech Kaczyński who does not support the concept to cut down expenditures.
