Gdynia
Called by many the "sailing capital of Poland" Gdynia is one of the youngest Polish cities. Its port is the gateway to this country and a landmark of the city.
Danuta Isler reports
Every year Gdynia lures tourists from Poland and abroad with a variety of both indoor and outdoor events. Heineken Opener Festival, the Tall Ship Races - a gathering of the greatest and most beautiful tall ships sailing across the oceans - or Ladies Jazz Festival are only a few examples of Gdynia's rich cultural program prepared for the upcoming summer months. Danuta Isler talked to Justyna Lemon from the Gdynia Tourist Information to find out more about it.
More information about the city's tourist attractions as well as current events can be found at its website www.gdynia.pl/eng
