73 children from Palestine have come for vacations in Poland

Joanna Najfeld reports

A group of 73 children from Palestine have come to Poland on vacation. They have been invited by the Presidential Chancellery, which organized their stay together with Poland's largest charity organization, the Catholic Caritas Polska.

The kids are aged between 8 and 15 years old, and have come to Poland for three weeks to travel all over the country and enjoy all the attractions that are not available in their country destroyed in the war. The kids are Muslim, so organizers took care of their religious and cultural needs. An imam visits them every Friday and they are served Arabic food, with the exception of those occasions, when they try Polish cuisine. They are also accompanied by psychologists. One of them is Bassam Aouill. He says the kids need special care, because many have witnessed the death of their families.
