The approved budget draft for next year envisages a deficit of 52.2 billion zloty (around 12.3 billion euro) and a 1.2 per cent GDP growth with a 1 per cent inflation index. PM Donald Tusk insisted the 249 billion zloty state revenue confronted with 301 billion zloty expenditures next year account for a realistic and balanced budget.
The government head assured that despite far reaching savings people whose personal income is budget related should not feel threatened. The projected deficit has been subject to repeated upward verification over the past weeks starting from a modest 10 billion zloty.
