The Career Week covers hundreds of events like lectures, counseling sessions, meetings with advisors and aims to help people in finding their work route. It is addressed to all age groups seeking jobs -from secondary school graduates to the group '50plus'. The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher education and the Ministry of labour and Social policy.
The national career week is organised on the initiative of the Association of School and Job Councilors , shows that career counseling is crucial once choosing a job. The interest in the event points to how professional advice in job search is lacking in Poland. More information on Career Week can be found on www.tydzienkariery.pl
