Most of Poles are very satisfied with the changes and think that they live in better times than twenty years ago.
Twenty years after the democratic transformation and on the eve of the comemmorations marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall the Institute of Public Affairs in Warsaw decided to ask the citizens of the Visegrad Group - Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary - countries about their evaluation of the transformation process and the twenty years of the functioning of democracy there.
We interview the president of the Institute's Executive Board, Jacek Kucharczyk
