Will Donald Tusk reconsider presidential aspirations with his party's ratings going up but popularity of his cabinet going down?

A survey conducted by the GfK Polonia polling institute for the Rzeczpospolita newspaper indicates 50 per cent backing for the Civic Platform (PO), up one point from two weeks ago. Party leaders consider the result more than satisfactory at mid parliamentary term.

At the same time public opinion has become more and more critical of the performance of the PO led government and  PM Tusk himself. Enough to mention strong opposition to his latest surprise proposal of amending the Constitution, which was rejected by over 60 per cent of Polish society.

 

But now, an old tested friend could re-enter the political scene...
