Upheaval in Poland  after 158 unhappy asylum-seekers, mostly from the Caucasus, took over a train and headed for Strasbourg to complain.

158 refugees, most of them from Georgia and Chechnya were travelling with complaints about their living conditions in Poland.  Children, pregnant women, sick and old among them, in Legnica the group embarked a train running from Wrocław to Dresden. The refugees ended their trip at the border crossing in Zgorzelec but reverberations continue in Poland and abroad, with criticism coming even from the President of Chechnya and Polish President Kaczyński demanding explanations.
