While shopping malls are surprisingly full year-round in Poland, EU figures still show that there is a relatively high level of material deprivation in the county, meaning that people are less able to afford things like heating a house properly, a car or a week-long vacation once a year.
 

The European Union’s statistical agency, Eurostat, has released a report of the twenty seven member states and claims that 32 percent of Poles are materially deprived.
