Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot, also known as the Tri-City came back from a prestigious tourist fair in Finland with an award for the best tourist destination in 2009.

This was the first time that Poland had received the award at the MATKA fair in Helsinki, Finland, the biggest such event in northern Europe.
