The Polish government moved to Brussels for a day on Wednesday. Prime Minister Donald Tusk, accompanied by most of his cabinet ministers, had a series of talks with the EC President Jose Manuel Barroso and EU commissioners.

The meetings were devoted to the priorities of the Polish presidency in the second half of 2011, among them, the EU financial framework for 2014-2020, deeper economic integration, energy security and Eastern Partnership.
Premier Tusk emphasized that Poland will strive to prevent a division between euro zone and non-euro zone countries in the European Union. His stand was backed by Mr.Barroso, saying: “We can’t have a split in the EU”.
