Will Poland’s new e-consulate system, set up by the Foreign Ministry, end the often experienced visa application nightmare for travelers coming to Poland from outside the Schengen border free zone?

Log on at e-konsulat.gov.pl and access answers in eight different languages to the most frequently asked questions regarding consular services, including visa applications and much more besides.

The new e-consulates aim to create solutions for Poles travelling abroad and shorten queues in visa applications from nations outside the Schengen Zone, the bulk of which currently originate from Ukraine.

But as Slawek Szefs found out in this audio report, e-consulates will not end the often Kafkaesque visa application process for many. (pg)
