Ahead of its publication next month, a new book by Jan Gross, Golden Harvest has been released for previewing by the book’s publishers in Krakow.

The new book by sociologist Jan Tomasz Gross looks into how Poles gained financially from the Holocaust, and has caused controversy even before its release in Poland.

Polish Radio's John Beauchamp reports that Golden Harvest receives its title from a photograph which depicts a group of farm labourers during the harvest. However, upon closer inspection the photo reveals that the crops are actually human remains near the Treblinka German Nazi death camp…
