How would you feel about displaying one of Warsaw's recognisable symbols on your arm or back? Some famous and many regular Poles have already done so as shown at the exhibition called "Feel Warsaw on your own skin" in Warsaw.
This is also not the first time that Piotr Margas of Oneshot Design graphic studio decided to present an exhibition which shows history in a present day context. His previous open-air exhibition called "The City of Phoenix - War*saw everything" presented the war and post-war history of Poland's capital and a was collection of 28 photomontages, where photos from the Warsaw Rising had been morphed with modern day photos of the exact same places. This time he has prepared 38 black and white images of tattoos. The owners of exhibited tattoos include Polish rap scene artists but also Stasiek Wielanek - the guru of Warsaw folk, Zofia Klepacka - a windsurfer and Poland representative at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens as well as many regular Varsovians.
