The “Divine Comedy” theatre festival has kicked of in the southern city of Kraków. During the festival, over 12 scenes in the city are hosting numerous different theatre performances, not only from Poland.

As part of Kraków’s ongoing efforts to be a bastion of cultural enterprise, the latest festival, the “Divine Comedy”, is part of the 6 senses project that started in the city earlier on this year. The festival is meant to be a reflection of the human soul, says the festival's director Bartosz Szydłowski.
Apart from Polish performances, there are also a number of acts from further afield, including India, Iran, Colombia and South Africa.
