Museum of Toys and Play in Kielce

The southern Polish city of Kielce has applied for the 1st European Award of Excellence "City for Children" 2009 granted by the European Network "Cities for Children". What are Poland's chances in the competition?

As organizers explain, the 1st European Award of Excellence "City for Children" 2009 will be granted to a European city to honor its commitment to child- and youth- friendliness. The competition is open to all European cities whose population exceeds one hundred thousand inhabitants and have developed innovative ideas for the youngest residents.
