Po raz trzeci "Chatka Żaka" będzie gościć ten niezwykły irlandzki duet. Gitarzysta i wokalista Brendan Monaghan występuje w rodzinnej Irlandii i w innych krajach na całym świecie, zarówno na koncertach solowych, jak i z wieloma znanymi muzykami, pisze też piosenki dla innych artystów europejskich i amerykańskich. W Lublinie towarzyszyć mu będzie charyzmatyczny skrzypek Niall McClean. Kariera muzyczna Monaghana jest bardzo bogata: był liderem zespołu "Cattle Company", występował z wieloma znanymi muzykami irlandzkimi, takimi jak Cara Dillion, Tommy Flemming, Planxty, The Furey's, wziął udział w kilku dużych festiwalach, między innymi "Fiddler's Green Festival" w Irlandii, "Vlaardingen Festival" w Holandii oraz "Celtic Halloween Festival" w Niemczech. Monaghan dotychczas nagrał cztery albumy, które ukazały się pod szyldem wytwórni Brambus Records. Wydana na początku 2012 roku, zawierająca 5 utworów EP-ka zatytułowana "I love how you love me" dotarła do pierwszego miejsca Międzynarodowej Listy Przebojów Muzyki Celtyckiej. Obecnie pracuje nad piątym krążkiem, który ukaże się jeszcze w tym roku. Twórczość Brendana Monaghana to udany mariaż folku z nutką popularną. Płynące, nastrojowe ballady splatają się z irlandzkim folkiem, a w ich melancholii jest też odrobina nieskrępowanej radości. To ciepła, miła dla ucha muzyka i pozytywnie nastrajające teksty autora. Irlandzki dziennikarz i prezenter radia RTE, John O' Regan stwierdza: „Muzyka Brendana Monaghana łączy to co najlepsze w klasycznym folk-rocku ze sztuką kompozytorską oraz elementami irlandzkiej muzyki tradycyjnej w atrakcyjną całość, której dobrze się słucha."
