  • 23.05.2009
Sixty four percent of Poles think that the country is going in the wrong direction and 70 percent think Poland is in the grip of the finance crisis.

The survey by TNS OBOP finds that 28% of respondents are satisfied with the economic situation in the country - these are mostly people with higher education and inhabiting larger cities. The more interest in politics respondents declared the better was their opinion on the situation.

The more pessimistic group are the elderly inhabitants of small towns and villages and supporters of the opposition Law and Justice party. (ab)
