A report devoted to tasks faced by Poland over the next twenty years is to be presented today by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
The report, entitled Poland 2030 – development challenges has been compiled by a team of strategic advisers headed by the Secretary of State for the Council of Ministers, Michal Boni.
The document describes the ten most important “challenges” facing the nation in the coming decades, such as competitiveness, the demographic situation, professional activity, infrastructure potential, energy and climate security, the knowledge economy, development of intellectual capital, solidarity, regional relations, and an efficient state – all of which, according to the authors of the report, determine growth, economic tempo, the situation in the region and Poland’s position on the economic and social map of Europe.
The document is to set out the framework for a long-term development strategy of Poland. (fk/pcg)
