• Cement stiffens Polish Viagra
  • 17.06.2009

Ninety charges have been brought against an inhabitant of the northern city of Elk who sold cement mixed with medicine supposed to enhance sexual potency.

The medicine contained a mixture of cement and sildenafil, a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction, also known by the trade name ‘Viagra’.

Jan N., a 44-year-old from Elk, traded fake Viagra for two years via the internet. The cost of one pill was 25-35 zlotys.

Although the medicine was not fit for its purpose, after lab trials the pills did not cause any harmful side effects.

Jan N. may face up to eight years in prison. Police are searching for his clients to inform of them of the pills’ contents and collect witnesses for the prosecution. (mg/pg)
