  • 21.06.2009
A 12 year-old boy is the tenth person in Poland to be tested positive for the A (H1N1) flu virus.

The boy returned to Poland from the United States last Thursday, landing in the south-eastern town of Rzeszów, and is currently in a hospital in Sanok. A woman who accompanied the boy during the journey has undergone necessary tests.

Over the past two days, two other people tested positive for swine flu. A 27 year-old woman who arrived from China four days ago is in a hospital in Warsaw; and a 37 year-old man, who flew from Miami to Gdansk, via Frankfurt last Tuesday, has also been hospitalized. All the three persons are reported in a good condition. (mk/pg)
