  • 06.07.2009

The first wildlife corridor for animals will be build over a dual carriageway in the Swietokrzyskie province, central Poland.

The aim of the corridor is to connect wildlife populations separated by the road. The bridge will be 40 metres wide and over 50 metres long. It will be covered with grass and bushes to look natural.

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways plans to build more corridors for animals. One of them will lead over the Kielce ring road, another will run under a flyover between Ostojow and Suchedniow. (mg)
