Another miner succumbed, Saturday morning, to burn injuries at the Burn Treatment Centre in Siemianowice, after being severely injured in the methane blast at the Wujek-Slask colliery on September 18.

Twenty two miners are still at the hospital in a “serious but stable” condition, though two are described as “critical”. (pg)
