Poster in Berlin, part of the “It all began in Poland” campaign
The monopoly-style game tells the story of the rise and fall of communism in central and eastern Europe, beginning at the Yalta conference and ending with the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The purpose of game – which is a cool and entertaining way to learn about the history of the region – is to remind people of Poland and Solidarity’s central role in the toppling of communist regimes throughout Europe.
The set comprises of board and playing counters, rules and a great music CD with Polish artists such as Kasia Nosowska, Artur Rojek, Gaba Kulka, 1984, Agressiva 69 and Czeslaw Spiewa.
