Foreign minister Radosław Sikorski is Poland’s most trusted politician, according to a new opinion poll.

The poll by the CBOS Institute found he enjoys the trust of 53 percent of Poles, two percentage points more than Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

The Speaker of Parliament Bronisław Komorowski, also representing the Civic Platform party, enjoys the confidence of 48 percent. Deputy Prime Minister and Polish Peasant Party leader Waldemar Pawlak, and the leader of the Social Democracy of Poland Marek Borowski are next most trusted politicians.

The list of politicians who evoke popular mistrust is headed by former prime minister, opposition leader Jarosław Kaczyński and his twin brother President Lech Kaczyński. (mk/pg)
