• Warsaw police chasing bus shooter
  • 02.12.2009
Warsaw police have created a special unit to investigate who keeps shooting at city buses and trams in the capital of Poland.

Eight buses and trams have been damaged this month as a result of air gun shots. So far police have not managed to catch the “sniper” or find buckshots.

All attacks were carried out on Mondays and the “sniper” was probably shooting from a riding car.

Public transport damages caused by hooligans in Warsaw this year have cost over one million zloty (240,000 euro). Fortunately, no one was injured. (mg)
