President Lech Kaczynski will not be attending official functions for another week as a month-long illness continues.

The President is once again not feeling well and has begun a new course of antibiotic, says the Presidential Palace.

The head of state began feeling unwell after the 11 November Independence Day ceremonies when he went down with a flu-like illness, said Paweł Wypych, a spokesman at the President’s office.

Lech Kaczyński has now cancelled a trip to the Baltic states, which was scheduled for Wednesday. (pg)
