A teacher from a secondary school in the northern city of Elblag fainted after having a revitalizing coffee. Police suspect students poured morphine in her cup.  

At 08.00 CET on Monday during a physics class, the 35-year-old woman fainted after drinking a breakfast cup of coffee. A subsequent medical examination showed that she was under the influence of morphine.

Police suspect that students poured the substance into their teacher’s cup while she was at the back of the class. Pupils and teachers are being interrogated by police. (mg)
