Residents of Gdynia on the Baltic coast are the happiest with their city in Poland, says a new survey.

The survey by PBS DGA in 32 large and middling sized towns and cities across Poland, from a sample of 16,000 people, found that the most contented Poles lived in Gdynia, Wroclaw, Torun and Zielona Gora.

In fact, Poles like life in large cities. On average, 83 percent say they like their own city. Over ninety percent of those in Gdynia said they were satisfied with life in their city, whereas 78 percent of Varsovians gave the thumbs up to Warsaw.

The residents of Radom are the least satisfied city dwellers, according to the survey. (pg)
