EuroLeaders School, the first post-graduate studies in Poland devoted entirely to women’s issues, will open in March in the north-western city of Szczecin.
“The aim of the school is to educate future female business and political leaders at a European level,” explains Anna Kornacka, leader of the Women’s Party and initiator of the school. According to Kornacka, Polish women are better educated than men but rarely take managerial posts and work at the EU institutions.
The tutors will include former Foreign Minister Andrzej Olechowski, former governor of the West Pomeranian region Norbert Obrycki and philosopher Prof. Magdalena Sroda.
Students will also have workshops with successful business women and female politicians and internships abroad. (mg)
