Security head in the Polish Petroleum and Gas Mining company was trained by the Soviet KGB security agency.

 

The 60-year-old, Wojciech J., has been holding the post of the head of the security bureau at the state-controlled oil and natural gas company since May 2008. He is in charge of strategic warehouses with gas reserves.

 

The Rzeczpospolita daily established that, in the 1970s, Wojciech J. worked for the Polish military counter-intelligence. In the 1980s, the Pole participated in a half-year-long training at the KGB, national security agency of the Soviet Union.

 

“I’m proud of it,” Wojciech J. told the newspaper.

 

Rzeczpospolita also claims that, in the 1990s, Wojciech J. had contacts with Polish mafia. (mg/mmj)
