Just when Poles were looking forward to spring, weather forecasters say that wintry weather will return with a vengeance on Friday.

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management says snow will even fall in southern Poland, Thursday.

Temperatures will then plunge to minus 7 at night, with heavy snow falling throughout most of the country. During the day temperatures will hover around zero centigrade. (pg)
