• Kaminski’s Wistula expedition moors in Warsaw
  • 13.03.2010

Polar explorer Marek Kaminski moored in Warsaw at 10 am this morning as part of his long canoeing journey through the length of Poland.

“I eat fish and drink filtered water from the Wistula river,” Kaminski said when asked why he was still full of energy after nearly a week of paddling along one of Poland’s main river ways.

Kaminski, accompanied by disabled canoeists, expedition, manages to cover around 90 kilometers a day, through what have been unusually cold waters, even for Poland, at this time of year.

The trip ends in Gdansk later next week. Keep up to date with the Expedition Wisla via their youtibe page here. (pg)
