Easter Saturday liturgies were celebrated in the morning hours, and the faithful carry baskets with Easter food to be blessed by the priests.

Easter masses begin at midnight and will last till morning hours. Then the faithful sit down to the celebratory Easter breakfast. The Christian Orthodox Church is the second largest church in Poland Most of the congregation is centered in the Eastern borderland regions with considerable Belarusian and Ukrainian minorities.
