Poland’s Health Ministry has confirmed that all 96 victims of the Smolensk air disaster have now been formally identified.

Coffins with the bodies of 21 victims will be brought back to Poland in two military planes on Friday, says the Polish government’s information centre.

Among those who will return tomorrow are the bodies of Gen. Andrzej Błasik (Commander of the Polish Air Force), Law and Justice MP Grazyna Gęsicka and Mariusz Handzlik (Minister at the Presidential Chancellery). (pg)
