Winter is still holding its grip on Poland even though spring officially started a month ago with snow being recorded in some areas.
Snowy weather has surprised citizens of the Baltic coast, the eastern region of Podlasie and the Bieszczady mountain range in the south-east of Poland. At night in many Polish cities temperature dropped to below zero.
Weather forecasts for today are not optimistic, with temperatures not exceed 6 degrees Celsius and at night it will fall to minus 3 degrees.
Snow will fall in the mountains and sleet and strong wind are expected in the north of Poland. (mg)
