The Honorary Committee of Support for Bronislaw Komorowski, the presidential candidate of the Civic Platform, has been presented  in Warsaw.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk, speaking at the ceremony, said the committee has gathered  in conviction that in several weeks time the fate of Poland will be decided. Tusk underlined that Komorowski represents great Polish values and tradition and can be a patron of the good changes and reconciliation.

‘We all know that Poland needs a president  who  is attentively listened to in the world and in the country, but is not feared by Poles. We need a president who can talk to people and to all the country'.

Meanwhile Euro deputy of the Law and Justice informed that the official campaign of Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of the party and brother of late president Lech Kaczynski, will  start on May 22nd in Warsaw.

‘May the 22nd will be the official launch, but Jaroslaw Kaczynski is already present in Internet debates and in discussions with journalists'.

According to earlier announcement of Law and Justice politicians the election programme of Jaroslaw Kaczynski will refer to the issues the candidate considers most important: family, economic development, the state and Polish presidency of the EU. (ab)
